Murder - Dec 8, 2002
Victim: Lawrence “Pete” Weddle
On December 8, 2002
the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department responded to the home of
Lawrence “Pete” Weddle on South Highway 1247 (Cedar Grove Road) just
south of Somerset. Weddle was found dead in his home as the result of a
gunshot wound.
Investigators believe
Weddle was killed by someone close to him such as a family friend or
neighbor. The investigation has resulted in the identification of a
suspect but detectives need more information in order to file charges
against that person.
